Willie Nelson is appearing in the upcoming film 'Angels Sing,' and readers of The Boot are getting an early look at the project in this exclusive preview clip.

Based on the book 'When Angels Sing,' the movie stars Harry Connick, Jr. as Michael Walker -- a man who, as a child, wished every day was Christmas. But a tragic accident destroyed his holiday spirit, and after 30 years, Walker is still unable to muster any joy for Christmas.

'Nashville' star Connie Britton stars as Walker's wife, while Kris Kristofferson and Fionnula Flanagan play his parents. All of them try to encourage him to regain his Christmas spirit, but it's not until his son (Chandler Canterbury) faces a tragedy that Walker decides he needs to make amends with his past.

Enter a mysterious man names Nick (played by Nelson), who gives Michael a gift that helps him find the courage to regain the joy of Christmas that he has lost.

The film will be available on demand everywhere on Nov. 1, the same day it will begin a limited theatrical run. It will continue to expand nationwide throughout the month. For a list of theaters, click here.
