Wynonna Judd will appear during the 2015 SXSW Music Conference and Festival in Austin, Texas, for an interview and performance, scheduled for March 20.

Judd and her husband Cactus Moser, who also serves as her producer and drummer, will sit down with NPR's Ann Powers to discuss her career and plans for the future. Following the talk, Judd will take the stage with her band, the Big Noise, for a concert.

SXSW is set to take place March 13-22; the music-focused portion of the event occurs March 17-22. More information is available on the SXSW website.

Judd is currently crossing the country on her Wynonna and Friends: Stories & Songs Tour, sharing her music and personal stories in smaller venues.

“The concept for the Stories & Song Tour has been a dream of mine for many years and will be unlike any tour I've ever done before,” she explains. “My husband ... and I have put this show together, and, along with the band, we all feel a renewed passion, and we believe that this music is being celebrated in a whole new way. That gives me a great deal of hope, and it is my prayer that others who come to our shows will experience that hope as well.”

The Kentucky native had quite a scare on Wednesday (Feb. 25) while en route to a Pennsylvania tour stop: The generator on her tour bus caught fire, but luckily, no one was injured in the accident.

“There is a reason for ALL things,” Judd says. “This distraction is probably causing us to stop now so that we avoid something even worse that could have happened up the road. I’m grateful. Once again, God is SO GOOD!”

A complete list of Judd's upcoming tour stops is available on her website.
