Wade Bowen Celebrity Golf Tournament and Concert Dates Set

Wade Bowen is set to host his 16th Annual Bowen Classic celebrity golf tournament and concert.

The event will take place June 1-2 in Bowen's hometown of Waco, Texas. Proceeds will benefit the Bowen Family Foundation, which was established to facilitate sharing the funds with many different organizations each year. Bowen has raised close to $750,000 from the past five years of the tournament.

“I truly love having the opportunity to help those in need, which is one of the many reasons the Bowen Classic is very important to me,” Bowen says in a press release. “I've been very privileged over the last 16 years to have such dedicated and hard working friends and family to help contribute to the success of this event and the Bowen Family Foundation. I look forward to continuing my efforts to raise money for others, while having a blast doing it!”

The event kicks off with an all-star concert on Sunday, which famously features a two-hour jam with the bands in attendance.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 28 at wadebowen.com. Registration for the golf tournament is $200 per golfer and includes two concert tickets. Tickets for the concert only are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the show.
