Ty Murray’s Last Tango?

Jewel's husband, retired rodeo champ Ty Murray, has temporarily left the couple's Texas ranch to hit the Hollywood dance floor on 'Dancing with the Stars.' Nine weeks into the show, Ty tango-ed and rumba-ed with partner Chelsie Hightower on Monday, but the competition's getting tougher and the couple, who registered the lowest scores of the evening, are facing elimination.

But don't expect Ty to get too broken up about it if he does gets kicked off the show -- he's been kicked off worse things, after all! And in our exclusive interview with Jewel, the singer told us Ty's 'Dancing' days haven't exactly been injury-free. In addition to getting a black eye, Jewel revealed that her hubby "had a rib head pop out, but if I hadn't told anybody, no one would ever know, because he won't talk about it.

"He's a tough cowboy," the singer continued. "If it happened to any of the other contestants, it would have been real painful, but he's dealt with a lot of injury and pain his whole career. For the cowboys, it's embarrassing to act hurt. That's why, even after a broken leg, they'll get up and get out of the arena."

Jewel added that when her husband watches football -- or any other sport -- and sees players lying on the field too long after sustaining an injury, he gets upset.

"He's like, 'Get off the freakin' field! Don't act like a baby, go handle it in the locker room!'"

So if this is Ty's last dance, don't expect to witness a Joan Rivers-style freakout like on 'The Celebrity Apprentice.' He'll save that for the locker room.
