Tim McGraw Accused of Song Stealing
Tim McGraw has been slapped with a $20 million dollar lawsuit from a Texas man who says the country superstar ripped off his song. James Martinez alleges that McGraw and songwriters Craig Wiseman and Mike Reid used his tune 'Anytime, Anywhere Amanda' as inspiration for the huge McGraw hit, 'Everywhere.'
It's not clear what part of his song Martinez is claiming was ripped off, but TMZ reports that it's simply the title that has him upset. McGraw's lawyers tell TMZ that Martinez's claims are "totally without merit." You can read the legal documents here.
