Tim McGraw Announces 2014 Tour Dates, New Single

Delivering on hints he's been dropping online, Tim McGraw announced a new single and a new 2014 tour on Monday (Jan. 13).

McGraw's new song, 'Lookin' for That Girl,' is at radio beginning Jan. 13, and will be available for fans to purchase at iTunes on Jan. 21. The track is the lead single from McGraw's next album, which will be his second under a new deal with Big Machine.

His debut for the label, 'Two Lanes of Freedom,' scored four hit singles with 'Truck Yeah,' 'One of Those Nights,' 'Highway Don't Care' and 'Southern Girl.'

"This last year was unbelievable, and I don't have any plans to let off the gas now. We didn't want to waste any time getting new music out," McGraw says in a press release.

He adds, "With every album, my approach is to push a few of my own boundaries and try things I've never done before. It was hard to choose a lead single off this project because I really felt like we had six or seven good options. I kept coming back to 'That Girl' because even though it may be a little different for me sonically, I couldn't get it out of my head!"

The singer revealed the cities for his upcoming Sundown Heaven Town 2014 Tour, which will kick off in Sacramento, Calif. in May and visit 30 cities before wrapping up in Dallas. The exact dates have yet to be announced. Fans can purchase tickets beginning Jan. 24 for select cities as part of Live Nation's Country Megaticket at Megaticket.com.
