Thomas Rhett, Kelsea Ballerini Preview Upcoming ‘CMA Fest’ TV Special

Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini sat down to talk about their upcoming roles hosting CMA Fest: The Music Event of the Summer, a three-hour TV special featuring performances and highlights from the 2017 CMA Music Festival. Readers can press play above to get a sneak peek at the event.

In addition to co-hosting the CMA Fest TV special, both Ballerini and Rhett also performed during CMA Fest 2017’s nightly concerts at Nissan Stadium in June. The experience was especially memorable for the pair who remember attending CMA Music Festival shows in the same stadium that they now have performed in.

"The coolest thing about this is, me and Thomas both came to CMA Fest as fans. And we both remember where we sat in this stadium as fans, and so I think it gives both of us a bigger appreciation for being able to sing our songs that have been on the radio now on that stage for all these people. 'Cause we were one of those people," Ballerini shared in video about their upcoming gig as hosts (and their run as performers in June).
