Keith Urban, Thomas Rhett Join ‘The Voice’ Season 15 as Advisers
Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson have enlisted help from the country community for Season 15 of The Voice. Keith Urban will be the adviser for Team Blake during the show's upcoming new season, while Thomas Rhett will assist Team Kelly.
News of The Voice's Season 15 advisers broke on Monday (Aug. 6). Access reported the details of Shelton and Urban's partnership, while E! shared the news of Rhett's spot with Clarkson's team. The Voice's two other Season 15 coaches, Jennifer Hudson and Adam Levine, have tapped Halsey and former The Voice coach CeeLo Green, respectively, as their advisers.
The Voice advisers assist teams during the competition's Battle Rounds. In addition to each coach, the advisers offer advice about song selections and performances to their team's members as they prepare for competition.
Urban and Rhett have both had busy summers, in addition to working on the upcoming season of The Voice. Urban released a new album, Graffiti U, in late April, and has been on the road for his Graffiti U World Tour for much of the summer. Rhett, meanwhile, released his newest album, Life Changes, in September; he's spending the summer playing dates with Kenny Chesney.
The Voice Season 15 will premiere on Sept. 24. The show airs on NBC.
