Trace Adkins is launching a mini-residency to celebrate Christmas this year. The country singer's The Gift of Christmas With Trace Adkins and Friends will take over Nashville's Wildhorse Saloon and the Gaylord Opryland Resort to close out 2019, Adkins revealed on Good Morning America on Wednesday night (Nov. 13).

Adkins and a 12-piece band will perform more than 30 two-hour concerts, filled with Christmas standards during the 2019 holiday season. Performances begin on Saturday (Nov. 16) and run through Christmas day (Dec. 25); shows through Nov. 24 will be held at the Wildhorse Saloon, while shows from Nov. 27 through Christmas will take place at Opryland's Tennessee Ballroom.

"We're gonna have somebody different every night," Adkins says of the special-guest "Friends" advertised in the title of his Christmas residency. "We've got a lot of people lined up to come pop in and do a Christmas song or two."

VIP and basic tickets to The Gift of Christmas With Trace Adkins and Friends include dinner, prepared by Gaylord Opryland chefs. Visit ChristmasAtGaylordOpryland.com for full details.

Adkins was on Good Morning America on Wednesday as part of the show's pre-2019 CMA Awards festivities. GMA host Lara Spencer spoke with Adkins live from the Wildhorse Saloon, which also hosted a performance from Luke Combs and the announcement of the first two 2019 CMA Awards winners. Maddie & Tae revealed that Kacey Musgraves is 2019's CMA Music Video of the Year winner, while Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus are this year's CMA Musical Event of the Year winner.
