Taylor Swift, already busy headlining her own tour, didn't have to be asked twice when Keith Urban invited her to join his tour for a few dates.

"It was always a dream of mine to tour with Keith," Taylor tells GAC. "I never got the chance to do it, so when the opportunity came about to share the stage with Keith, even though we were planning the 'Fearless' tour, I jumped at the chance to join him."

Taylor believes it is more than just a love of performing that connects the two of them, in spite of their 22-year age difference.

"Keith came by my bus the other day before one of our shows, and we just sat and talked for an hour about music and what we're loving right now. We also talked about writing and what inspires us. With Keith, I've always been able to relate to his music because he writes about feelings, and feelings are so universal. He seems to have a similar fixation with love that I have, so we are able to relate to each other in that way.

"Keith has been a hero of mine," Taylor continues. "He, along with Faith Hill, Shania Twain, Tim McGraw and the Dixie Chicks -- they are the artists that made me feel that country music is where I needed to be."
