Taylor SwiftTaylor Swift's personal life makes headlines just about as much as her hit songs, sold-out tours and industry awards. And just in time for Valentine's Day (both the holiday and her big-screen debut), the young superstar is opening up on her personal experiences with love -- including her much-publicized breakups -- in the new issue of Girl's Life magazine.

The 20-year-old offers her top 10 rules when it comes to love, as well as what she's learned from past relationships. "However hard and painful they are, you will learn something from [a breakup]," says Taylor. "That is the most contrived, you've-heard-it-million times lesson, but I really do feel like everything is put in your life to teach you something -- even if it's terrible and hard."

The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year also says she's in no hurry to find love again. "I feel like there is no pressure on me right now to find that great love. I can get to know people without some ulterior motive."

The February/March 2010 issue of Girl's Life, with Taylor on the cover, is on newsstands now.
