Steve Holy Sprints Back Onto the Charts
Though it's been five years since his last album, Steve Holy has returned without missing a step, scoring his fastest climbing single to date with 'Love Don't Run,' which has jumped to No. 22 on the country charts.
As the Texan singer prepares to release his long-awaited third album of the same name on September 13, the video for 'Love Don't Run' was just released last week. (Watch it below.)
"When I heard 'Good Morning Beautiful' for the first time I really felt it was a smash," Steve recently told The Boot, regarding his breakout hit from his 2001 debut. "When I heard 'Love Don't Run' for the first time, the lyrics really got to me and I felt the same way I did when I first heard 'Good Morning Beautiful.' I took that as a good sign."
"I'm very proud of where Steve is as an artist," added 'Love Don't Run' producer Lee Miller, who also helmed another big hit for the singer, 'Brand New Girlfriend.' "He is singing better on this album than he ever has and he stretches his boundaries this time around. There's a little something for everybody on this project."
Steve and Lee are currently putting the final touches on the new album, which is in stores on September 13.
