Shania Twain Extends 2015 Rock This Country Tour

The fans spoke -- and she answered. Shania Twain's Rock This Country Tour has been so well received that she's extending it into the fall.

Due to overwhelming fan demand, Twain's tour, which was scheduled to end on Aug. 23 in Fresno, Calif., will now run through Oct. 11 and come to a close in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The news comes before Twain has even played the first concert of the tour's first leg. Her Rock This Country Tour officially kicks off on June 5 in Seattle, Wash., heads to Canada for a slew of dates, and then comes back to the states to play New York City's Madison Square Garden at the end of June. From there, the singer will wind her way to Boston, Indianapolis, Nashville, Austin, Los Angeles and more -- and that's just the first leg.

Twain's second leg will begin on Sept. 12 in Spokane, Wash., then head to Portland, Ore.; have a two-night stint in Calgary, Alberta, Canada; and hit up Minneapolis; Columbus, Ohio; Buffalo, N.Y., and several other cities. Singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw will be the special guest for most of the fall dates.

“This is a celebration tour. It’s party time! The Rock This Country Tour will have a different spirit than my past tours,” says Twain. “It’s a Shania they’ve never seen before. A lot of years have gone by, and I’ve got a lot more to share.”

This is Twain's first North American tour in more than 11 years, and there's now a total of 67 dates to this massive trek. Unfortunately, the singer announced earlier that this tour will be her last.
