Sarah Jarosz won Best Folk Album, for her album Undercurrent, at the 2017 Grammy Awards held on Sunday (Feb. 12). Jarosz's win was announced during the Premiere Ceremony, which was streamed online before the televised awards show.

"Oh my goodness, this is just such a thrill," said Jarosz after taking the stage. The artist took time to thank all of the other nominees that she was up against before continuing, "I'm so thankful for the music community that I grew up in, and I just want to thank all of my musical heroes ... I feel so thankful, and, wow. Thank you so much."

During the Premiere Ceremony, Jarosz helped present a number of trophies, and also took home the award for Best American Roots Performance. Prior to her two wins in 2017, in 2014 Jarosz, earned two Grammys nods, one for Best American Roots Song (“Build Me Up From Bones”) and one for Best Folk Album (Build Me Up From Bones).
