Sara Evans enjoyed a short stint being swept across the dance floor on ABC's 'Dancing With the Stars' in 2006, before leaving the show mid-season to focus on her family when allegations of her then-husband Craig Schelske's cheating surfaced. But even though the singer left the show early, she still has strong opinions about one aspect of the judging process. "It's so unfair on 'Dancing With the Stars,' because when the men celebrities are competing, all you look at is thefemale [professional dancer]. So nobody really watches them," she remarks (quote via CMT). "And then when you see the women stars competing, you're expecting them to look like the females, and they just can't."

Although 'DWTS' enjoyed pro dancer and country singer Julianne Hough for five seasons, Sara joins Billy Ray Cyrus and Chuck Wicks as the only country music celebrities to be contestants on the show. The new cast of 'Dancing' contestants was just announced, and includes Kirstie Alley, Kendra Wilkinson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Ralph Macchio and Wendy Williams. The show kicks off on March 21 at 8:00 PM ET.

Sara's new album, 'Stronger,' hits shelves next week, with the first single, 'A Little Bit Stronger,' already in the Top 20. She also just released her second novel, 'Softly and Tenderly,' from her four-part book series, 'Sweet By and By,' that she began last year.
