Apparently New Orleans Saints Defensive Coordinator Rob Ryan is a big fan of Sammy Kershaw. Kershaw fans with a keen eye may have noticed that Ryan included the album art from 'Better Than I Used to Be' on the back of his play sheet when the Saints played the Philadelphia Eagles.

The album art was placed next to a photo of Ryan's father, former NFL coach Buddy Ryan, as well as a shout out to one of his favorite restaurants, Pat's King of Steaks.

"Rob sent me a text message and told me he was going to put the album art on his play sheet. I was so excited when I saw it on TV!" Kershaw says in a press release. "I'm honored and humbled that my album cover was included next to the picture of his dad and other things that are obviously very important to him."

He adds, "The Saints are my team so I am over-the-top excited to know that Rob Ryan is a fan of my music. He told me his favorite song is 'Vidalia!'"

The Saints are taking on the Seattle Seahawks in NFL second round playoffs on Jan. 11, and Kershaw says he'll be sure to tune in and cheer his team on.

"I really believe that my guys will make it to the Super Bowl this year," he says. "Maybe Rob will keep using my album art for good luck… along with Popeye's Fried Chicken!"
