Ronnie Dunn couldn't have planned it better. Earlier today (Feb. 26), Taste of Country reports, he welcomed his first grandchild, a bundle of joy born to his son Jesse and his wife on what's practically a holiday in the world of country music.

"Huxton 'HUCK' Wayne Dunn...3 hours old," Ronnie wrote on his Facebook page, where he also posted a photo. "Born on Johnny Cash's birthday !!!"

And not just any ol' Cash birthday. Today, the Man in Black would have turned 80. Dunn, meanwhile, is only 58, though back in November, when he announced he becoming a grandpa, he joked about feeling ancient.

"What do you call that word?" Ronnie said at the time, pretending that he couldn't bring himself to say "granddad." "I can't get it to come out yet. Anyway, they have a baby due. Found out it's a boy. I'm gonna be a granddad! I got it out. I gotta go to therapy now!"

Given that he's already been gushing on Facebook, Ronnie probably no longer needs those therapy sessions. He should just throw on some Johnny Cash -- you know, one of the happier tunes -- and have himself a celebration.
