Rodney Atkins to Perform at Bush Homecoming

Immediately following the inauguration of president-elect Barack Obama, George W. Bush will travel to Midland, Texas, where singer Rodney Atkins will join Lee Greenwood and the Gatlin Brothers in a Welcome Home rally for the President and and Mrs. Bush on Tuesday afternoon.

Although Bush was born in Connecticut, he grew up in Midland. It's also where he met his future First Lady.

Other entertainment is likely to be announced for the event, which will take place at Midland's Centennial Plaza.
