Rodney Atkins is getting married! The singer, who announced his engagement to Show Dog-Univeral artist Rose Falcon in June, will wed next month in an intimate ceremony in Florida.

“Rose is the best thing that's ever happened to me. . . . She's completely talented and beautiful,” Atkins gushes to Country Weekly. “The majority of our conversations are about for God to have a plan in our lives. We’re just having an incredible time just being and not being caught up in anything but living life, which is beautiful.”

The Tennessee native says he and his bride-to-be found their wedding spot completely by accident. “A while back we took some time, and one day while we were touring through Florida, we went fishing,” he explains. “So that’s where we’re planning on tying the knot. The date is going to be next month.”

But while the nuptials might be a private affair, the 'Doin' It Right' singer adds there will be plenty of time to celebrate.  “We’re going to come back to Nashville and have a big party!” he reveals.

This will be Atkins' second trip down the aisle. He was previously wed to Tammy Jo, whom he divorced in 2012 amidst charges of domestic assault, after she alleged he tried to smother her with a pillow. He denied the allegation, and was subsequently cleared of all charges.

Atkins will continue his More Hits for Your Money Tour this weekend, with shows in Florida and Mississippi. See his upcoming concert dates here.
