Reba McEntire delivered a stirring rendition of her newest single, "Freedom," during the 2019 ACM Awards on Sunday night (April 7). The song appears on her brand-new album, Stronger Than the Truth

McEntire took a break from her ACM Awards hosting duties for her "Freedom" performance. She took the stage in a glittery, raspberry pink western shirt and matching boots. She started out steady before belting out the chorus, receiving a standing ovation.

"Freedom" is the 11th track on McEntire's new album, and was co-written by Jay Brunswick, Tommy Cecil, Real Country winner Jaida Dreyer and John Pierce. Stronger Than the Truth, which dropped on Friday (April 5), is a return to McEntire's country roots after her previous record, a gospel project called Sing It Now: Songs of Faith & Hope.

McEntire is hosting the ACM Awards for the 19th time in 2019. She first co-hosted the show back in the 1980s, and has hosted both solo and with a variety of co-hosts over the years.
