Summer's coming (no, seriously, it'll be here before you know it!) and the Country Music Association has announced the initial lineup of performers for one of the season's most anticipated annual events -- the 2009 CMA Music Festival. Reba McEntire, Martina McBride, Trace Adkins and Lady Antebellum are among those already slated to take the main concert stage at Nashville's LP Field.

Also appearing during the four-day event, a Nashville mainstay since 1972, are 'Dancing with the Stars' sweetheart Julianne Hough and multiple CMA award winner Miranda Lambert, with more artists to be announced in the weeks ahead.

CMA Music Festival -- formerly known as Fan Fair -- will take place June 11-14 in downtown Nashville, with concerts, autograph signings and family activities all part of the festivities.

As in years past, the 2009 festival will benefit music education in Music City. In partnership with the Nashville Alliance for Public Education, the CMA, through the "Keep the Music Playing" program founded in 2005, has donated $2,245,421 to further music education programs for Metro Nashville Public Schools.

Tickets for CMA Music Festival are available now by calling 1-800-CMA-FEST (262-3378), visiting www.CMAfest.com or Ticketmaster, or charging by phone at 1-800-745-3000.
