Fans Send Randy Travis Well Wishes at Countryfest 2013

Randy Travis received a major show of support from fans at Countryfest 2013. 20,000 country music fans got together to send their love and well wishes to the ailing star via the video above.

The 54-year-old singer was hospitalized last Sunday (July 7), suffering from viral cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure. According to a statement from his doctors on Wednesday (July 10), the singer had shown signs of improvement, but later that night he suffered a stroke as a result of congestive heart failure. He was rushed into emergency surgery to relieve pressure on his brain.

Though he is now in recovery and under sedation, Travis remains in critical condition, and his family are still asking for prayers for the singer.

Led by Kevin Richards from WGNA, the crowd at Schaghticoke Fairgrounds in New York united in their support for Travis, chanting, "Randy! Randy Randy!"
