There's even more good news for Randy Travis fans.

The singer's father revealed last week that his famous son was getting stronger every day, and now we have proof. Country star Neal McCoy posted a picture of the two of them on Facebook recently, when they reunited before a show in Travis' home state.

The 'Forever and Ever, Amen' singer's recovery has been lengthy. He was originally hospitalized in July for cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure, before suffering a stroke while in the hospital. He was subsequently discharged three weeks later, when he entered a physical therapy facility.

Travis has remained largely out of the spotlight since his illness, with rumors circulating that he was still battling serious health issues. But the 54-year-old has reportedly begun taking meetings to promote his latest album, 'Influences, Vol. 1,' which was released in October.

“Randy’s doctors are extremely pleased with his progress," an insider has said, adding that Travis is "anxious to get back to work and connect with his fans.”
