Alabama will not be playing two weekend concerts (July 19-20) on their 50th Anniversary Tour. The band's frontman, Randy Owen, is suffering from a medical issue.

Owen and Alabama were scheduled to perform in Canada over the weekend: on Friday night (July 19) at TD Place Stadium in Ottawa, Ontario, and at the Big Sky Music Festival in Oro-Medonte, Ontario on Saturday (July 20). According to a tweet from Big Sky, Owen "is suffering from severe vertigo and migraines," and "is currently under doctor’s care and being treated."

Alabama fans with tickets for the band's Ottawa show will automatically receive refunds if they used a credit card; those who used a debit card or cash can visit the TD Place Stadium box office for a refund. Those fans are also welcome to attend the Big Sky Music Festival; organizers ask interested fans to bring their tickets to the show to the Big Sky box office.

Alabama began their 50th Anniversary Tour in January, and will stay on the road through late 2019. Their next stop is set for July 26, in Columbus, Ga. A July 27 show in Bristol, Tenn., will follow, and then the band has a break until mid-August. Fans can see their full concert calendar at TheAlabamaBand.com.
