The Grand Ole Opry is set to honor the US military on  Tuesday night (May 20).

The event will feature a red carpet arrival parade and a special Opry performance featuring Josh Turner, Darryl Worley, Craig Morgan, Lee Greenwood and Ricky Skaggs as well as the MusiCorps Wounded Warrior Band, making their debut on the Opry stage.

“We look forward to welcoming our nation’s heroes and some of the Opry’s favorite artists Tuesday night,” says Opry Vice President and General Manager Pete Fisher. “We’d like to invite Opry fans and our Nashville neighbors to join us in showing our appreciation to these heroes as they enter the Opry House for a show in their honor."

Fans can be a part of the festivities beginning at 6PM outside the Opry House, when members of the Wounded Warrior Band and Tennessee National Guard soldiers enter the Opry as part of the red carpet arrival parade. Performances begin inside at 7PM.

MusiCorps is based at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland. The program strives to help wounded warriors through musical rehabilitation. Learn more about the organization at MusiCorps.net. Tickets to the Opry salute are available at Opry.com.
