'Nashville' stars Charles Esten and Clare Bowen, who are best known as Deacon Claybourne and Scarlett O'Connor on the hit TV show, are using their fame for a worthwhile cause.

The two stars will serve as honorary chairs for the third annual Rally Rumble teen music festival at Rocketown in downtown Nashville on April 19, with proceeds benefiting the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research.

Esten has a personal investment in the event, which will feature more than 30 teenage singers and bands from all over the United States. His own son, Chase, will perform in one of the bands during the eight-hour concert.

But while the filming of the award-winning show keeps all of the cast members busy, Esten says they are happy to help out whenever they can.

“The city of Nashville has been very good to us,” he tells The Boot. “And we [the 'Nashville' cast] want to be a part of everything we can do to show our support.”

Each teen artist performing for the event has their own donation page set up at Crowdrise.com. Tickets are $15 in advance, or $20 at the door. Find more information about the event here, and purchase tickets here.
