Eight new releases are in contention for The Boot's May 2017 Album of the Month title. Which one will win? That's up to our readers!

Three new albums are set for release on May 5, the first Friday of the month: Chris Stapleton's highly anticipated sophomore record, From A Room: Volume 1 (one of two projects that the singer-songwriter will release this year); Colt Ford's sixth studio album, Love Hope Faith; and John Moreland's fourth solo album, Big Bad Luv.

The following Friday, May 12, the Zac Brown Band will share their new record Welcome Home, which the band promises takes them back to their roots. On May 19, meanwhile, Rascal Flatts will debut their 10th studio album, Back to Us, and Pokey LaFarge will release Manic Revelations, featuring 10 tracks.

May's new releases end on May 26, the final Friday of the month, with a Don Williams tribute album, Gentle Giants: The Songs of Don Williams, and Justin Townes Earle's Kids in the Street, his first project for New West Records.
