Mo Pitney, Wife Emily Are Having a Girl!

Mo Pitney and his wife Emily are having a baby girl! Evelyne Nadine Pitney will join the world in February of 2017, and the Pitneys are already over the moon for their daughter.

Pitney announced the news last week (Sept. 15) on Facebook, saying that he and Emily can't wait to meet their sweet girl.

"Hey boys! It's a girl!" Pitney wrote in his post, accompanied by a series of sonogram photos. "This is little - Evelyne Nadine Pitney -pronounced- (Ev-a-line). We are revealing the name now because we wanted to introduce this living human being to the world as soon as possible ... We already love her very much."

Mo and Emily announced they were having a baby in August, just five months after the two married on March 5 in her hometown of Carbondale, Ill.

And if all that isn't enough to make 2016 the biggest year of Pitney's life, he's also planning to release an album! On Oct. 7, Pitney's debut album Behind This Guitar will be available in stores and for digital download, with 10 of the 12 tracks written by the singer himself. Fans can pre-order the album on iTunes now and immediately download three of the record's tracks: “Country,” “Everywhere” and “Boy and a Girl Thing."
