Since Miranda Lambert began holding charity events to donate to the Humane Society of East Texas four years ago, she has made it possible for that facility to become a 'no kill' shelter. This year, the Grammy-winning superstar will host her 4th Annual Cause for the Paws charity event in Tyler, Texas, with all donations raised going to abandoned and abused animals living at the Humane Society of East Texas.

This year's Cause for the Paws event will feature Miranda and special guests Josh Kelley, Stoney LaRue and GAC host, Nan Kelley. According to Miranda's website, there will also be some surprise guests. The event will be held on April 30, with ticket prices ranging from $25 - 65. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 25. 'Ran Fan' fan club members can purchase presale tickets beginning today (February 23) through her website.

Last year, the Texas songbird -- who just recently, along with fiance Blake Shelton, rescued two roadside pups to add to their ever-growing brood of five canine babies -- raised nearly $100,000 for her MuttNation Foundation charity. A 2010 Gibson Goddess electric guitar, autographed by ZZ Top and Miranda, brought in $8,000 alone during the live auction.

Monetary donations are 100% tax deductible and should be made payable to: MuttNation Foundation, P.O. Box 1270, Lindale, Texas 75771. To donate via Paypal, funds can be sent to Muttnation@mirandalambert.com.
