Martina McBride Offers ‘Karma’ Lesson to Joss Stone
As Martina McBride prepares for the release of her upcoming album, the 'Teenage Daughters' singer expands her songwriting repertoire, co-writing 'Karma,' a track from soul singer Joss Stone's new project, 'LP1,' out today (July 26).
Produced and co-written by Eurythmics co-founder Dave Stewart, 'Karma' was recorded in Nashville at Martina's Blackbird Studio. Joss, Brad Warren and Brett Warren of the Warren Brothers are also credited writers on the tune.
In addition to her collaboration on Joss' project, Martina recorded 'All Messed Up,' a duet with Dave for his upcoming project, 'The Blackbird Diaries.' The project marks the music legend's first solo effort since his 1998 album, 'Sly-Fi.'
Martina is set to release 'I'm Gonna Love You Through It,' the second single from her upcoming project. The poignant tune is the follow-up to the singer's Top 20 hit, 'Teenage Daughters.' The yet-to-be-titled project is scheduled for an October 18 release date.
