Martina McBride and Faith Hill are both moms three times over. To lend support for healthier babies and their families, the two superstars will be among the featured artists at the Baptist Hospital Foundation's Rock the Cradle fundraiser, set for October 26 at Nashville's famed Loveless Barn. The event will benefit babies born at Baptist Hospital and the Beaman Neonatal Intensive Care Unit according to Nashville's Tennessean newspaper.

The cocktail reception and dinner will start at 6:30 P.M., with performances are set to begin at 8:00 P.M. A live auction will be part of the evening's festivities, featuring travel and entertainment packages.

Approximately 10 percent of the 7,000 babies born at Baptist Hospital each year need several days or months of intensive care, which is provided in the neonatal intensive care unit. (NICU). Funding has helped to renovate and equip the hospital's NICU, provide continuing education for nurses, and assist families with babies in the NICU.

"The Baptist Hospital Foundation works very hard to make sure the strain these families face is minimized by assisting with clinical, financial and emotional needs," says Kristie Ryan, director of the Baptist Hospital Foundation. "Our goal is to provide the best experience possible, regardless of economic status, heritage or need. The proceeds from Rock the Cradle will help make a significant difference in the lives of our tiniest patients and their families. We've been able to assist with overnight accommodations so mothers out of town can be closer to their sick baby, or by providing medical travel for babies who may need to go to a hospital out of state for specialized treatment. There are many unique needs that arise, and we want to be able to help our patients and their families."

Table sponsorships for the event -- which includes cocktail reception, dinner and tickets for the evening performances -- range in price from $1,000 to $5,000. Reservations must be made by October 5. The Loveless Barn is located at 8400 Highway 100, in Nashville.
