Maren Morris has debuted the music video for her debut single, "My Church."

The clip opens with Morris smoking a cigarette on the stairs of a church, then walking over to her blue car, parked across the street, as church bells toll. The singer drives away from the church (and the gospel choir standing outside) and onto an open Texas road. As she continues along, Morris picks up a girl with neon blue hair, then a good-looking guy -- people that fit in just fine at "her church."

"It was the coolest experience of my life getting to shoot my first music video in Texas during the most beautiful week," Morris tells Wide Open Country. "It was a great homage to my home state.”

Rachel McDonald directed Morris' "My Church" video, which the artist calls "my love letter to Texas."

"I couldn't imagine a better setting for the message of this song," Morris says of the Lone Star State. "It is my home and still the biggest chapter in my story."

This summer, the rising country star will join Keith Urban and Brett Eldredge on the road, as part of Urban's 2016 RipCORD World Tour. The trek will be Urban’s first arena and amphitheater tour in two years; it is set to begin on June 2 in Kansas City, Mo., and currently includes nearly 50 dates throughout the United States and Canada. More information is available on Urban’s official website.

More information about Morris is available on her official website. Both “My Church” and Morris’ self-titled EP are available for download via iTunes and Amazon.
