Maggie Sajak has released a new single, ‘Live Out Loud.’ The track is a special release inspired by Muriel Walters, a 16-year-old girl Sajak met while working with Music is Medicine’s Donate a Song project.

Walters has been battling cancer at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and after Sajak met and spent time with her, she was inspired to write a song about getting the best out of life, despite what it hands out to you -- and ‘Live Out Loud’ was born.

“I wanted to be able to have a positive impact on a patient’s life, and to make her smile,” Sajak says in a press release. “I also wanted to be able to inspire other patients and even those who are not suffering from cancer to lead a fuller life.”

Sajak saw Walters after the song was completed to premiere the new song for her. The event was captured on-camera and used as part of the lyric video for the song, which was released on the heels of Sajak's recent single, 'Wild Boy.'

Sajak -- who is the daughter of 'Wheel of Fortune' host Pat Sajak -- is the fourth artist to participate in the Donate a Song program, which is raising awareness and money for the pediatric oncology research team at Johns Hopkins. Proceeds raised from download sales will go to the hospital and their cancer research initiatives. As Sajak says, “Muriel is living out loud and so should we.”
