Luke Combs promised that he'd have news for fans on Thursday morning (Aug. 8) at 9AM ET -- and he delivered. Right on time, Combs announced his sophomore album.

Combs' tweet doesn't give much information, but it does give one very important detail: His new album's release date is Nov. 8.

Full details of Combs' new album -- its title, its songs and so forth -- have yet to be announced. However, Combs recently shared a few unreleased songs on social media, so fans can start to guess at what tracks might appear on the new project.

There's no stopping Combs lately. The country star recently celebrated his debut album, This One's for You, topping the Billboard Top Country Albums chart for a 44th week, breaking Randy Travis' record for the longest-sitting No. 1 album from a male artist. Meanwhile, Combs' newest No. 1 single, "Beer Never Broke My Heart" -- from his June EP, The Prequel -- is his sixth straight chart-topper and his fastest-rising single to date, shooting up the charts in just 13 weeks.

Following The Prequel's release on June 7, Combs once again made history, becoming the first artist to simultaneously place five songs in the Hot Country Songs chart's Top 25 since Johnny Cash did so in 1959. Combs also recently became a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and was officially inducted by two of his heroes, Vince Gill and Joe Diffie, in mid-July.

Combs is currently on the road for his Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour, which is selling out amphitheaters and arenas across the country. In December, he'll conclude the trek with two nights at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.
