Luke Bryan took time out from his headlining Dirt Road Diaries tour earlier this week to head to Panama City, Florida's Spinnaker Beach Club to perform two free shows. The 36-year-old country star, who played his annual oceanfront show to celebrate the release of his No. 1 album, Spring Break...Here to Party, also plays to smaller crowds on his annual Farm Tour, and says he has no plans to change any of that, in spite of his rising success.

"The Spinnaker and Farm tours are therapy for me," he explained to The Boot and other reporters at a recent media event. "As long as my voice feels good, I don't care where I'm doing a show. As long as there's a little fishing pond down the road from my show, and if I want to get away and go throw my fishing rod and try to catch a fish once a week, or go ride in my Bronco ..."

The Georgia native, whose debut album, I'll Stay Me was released in 2007, spent a lot of years trying to make it in the music business. For that reason, he will always look forward to playing for both small and big crowds. "People have to understand, I have to work six more years to catch up to the other part of my life," he notes. "I'm still only three years into playing huge [venues]. I spent most of my life playing for 500 seat clubs, and it was a blast. I'll sing anywhere if my voice feels good, because I love that role and I love doing that."

Luke will continue his Dirt Road Diaries tour with shows in Texas, South Carolina and Virginia this month. See all of his upcoming concerts here.
