2018 ACM Awards host Reba McEntire stunned the crowd in Las Vegas on Sunday evening (April 15) with a rendition of her 1993 hit, "Does He Love You," as one of the three performances in an "ACM Flashbacks" series scheduled that evening, each of which featured an iconic country legend performing one of their throwback hits alongside a newer star.

McEntire, who originally performed the song alongside her former duet partner, Linda Davis, brought singing icon and former American Idol champ Kelly Clarkson to the stage for last night's duet, and many of the artists in the audience seemed to get caught up in the moment....including country star and Entertainer of the Year nominee, Luke Bryan.

Bryan had a fan-girl moment during the climax of the duo's performance, and could be seen attempting to hit the high notes of "Does He Love You"'s chorus from his seat in the audience. It's difficult to blame him, however -- plenty of fans at home were no doubt doing the same.

Clarkson, who is also McEntire's daughter-in-law, introduced their performance with an anecdote about the first time she and McEntire teamed up to sing "Does He Love You" 16 years ago. "I totally sucked," Clarkson laughed. "She was so nice, though."

If Bryan's reaction is any indication, Clarkson more than rose to the occasion this time around: the powerhouse duo delivered sweeping, technically proficient vocal harmonies and seemed entirely in sync with each other throughout the performance.

For her part, McEntire included a subtle tip of the hat to the legacy of the song: she appeared onstage wearing the same sparkly red dress with a plunging neckline that made country infamy back in 1993. That dress, and its revealing cut, left a CMA Awards audience stunned when she appeared onstage to perform -- what else? -- "Does He Love You."
