Luke Bryan recently began his 2015 Kick the Dust Up Tour, and now, he has debuted the song after which the trek is named.

"Kick the Dust Up" is the first single off of a new project that Bryan will release this summer. Written by Dallas Davidson, Chris DeStefano and Ashley Gorley -- the same team behind "That's My Kind of Night" -- the song features an electronic-sounding beat and a prominent, simple melody during the verses.

“We go way out where there ain’t nobody / We turn this cornfield into a party," Bryan sings during the chorus. "Pedal to the floor board / Eight up in a four-door / Burnin’ up a back road song / Park it and we pile out / Baby, watch your step now / Better have your boots on / Kick the dust up."

Bryan has been opening his recent shows with this new song. He's never before started sets with an unreleased tune.

"That's how confident we are in the song being pretty awesome," Bryan tells USA Today. "We figured the socials would start lighting up and people would start learning the words. Once it hits radio, people will catch on real quick.''

Bryan's 2015 Kick the Dust Up Tour has dates scheduled through the end of October. The singer will also be the subject of a Country Music Hall of Fame exhibit, Luke Bryan: Dirt Road Diary, that runs this summer.

"Kick the Dust Up" is available now on iTunes. Bryan will be stopping by Ellen and The Voice on Tuesday (May 19) to perform the new tune.
