LoCash, the duo made up of Chris Lucas and Preston Brust, have once again shared their time and talents for a worthwhile cause. For the fourth consecutive year, the men have teamed up with an Illinois country radio station, Z100, to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with a concert and auction.

“We are so proud to have started such a meaningful tradition with Z100 in Illinois to help kids and families of St. Jude,” Brust tells Country Weekly. “Each year, it just keeps getting better, and every year we raise and reach our goals. The sky is the limit with this thing. It’s exciting to imagine how much money we can all raise for St. Jude in the future.”

LoCash were joined by hit songwriter Phil Barton, whose hand-written lyrics to the Lee Brice single 'A Woman Like You' alone earned $800 of the final donation. Brust also donated the vest he was wearing, while Lucas donated the shoes on his feet, bringing in more than $30,000 between the auction and ticket sales.

“It’s my favorite show of the year,” Lucas adds. “I hope it just gets bigger and bigger and bigger because we can’t do enough for the kids at St. Jude.”

LoCash are gearing up for a big 2015. They recently announced an official name change, going from LoCash Cowboys to simply LoCash, as well as a new record deal with Reviver Records.

“I think 2015 will be a great year for LoCash,” Lucas says. “We have a lot of friends in the industry and radio that have been waiting for this moment, and now it’s time.”

LoCash also have plenty of dates on the calendar in the new year, including a New Year's Eve show in Tampa, Fla. See all of their upcoming concerts here.
