Rising country duo LoCash Cowboys were involved in a serious bus accident Friday afternoon (June 14) in Wisconsin.

The accident occurred while Chris Lucas and Preston Brust were en route to a gig in Porterfield, Wisc. after their successful opening night show at the inaugural Taste of Country Music Festival in Hunter, N.Y. Taste of Country reports that one the front tires on their bus blew out while traveling at high speed, causing the bus to veer off the road. The bus was totaled in the accident, but it appears the band members are shaken but avoided serious injury.

"BAD BUS CRASH!" LoCash Cowboys tweeted at 6:50PM Friday. "Shook Up & Sore but ALIVE & READY TO ROCK WISCONSIN TONIGHT! Stay Tuned."

The duo have previously written hits for other artists, including Keith Urban's 'You Gonna Fly' and 'Truck Yeah' for Tim McGraw. They have been touring heavily to promote their highly-anticipated self-titled album, which is set for release on Tuesday (June 18). The first single from that album, 'Chase a Little Love,' is currently at radio.
