Little Big Town vowed not to leave this world 'Sober' at the 2013 CMA Awards, with a sweet performance of a song that's not really about alcohol consumption.

Performing on a small stage surrounded by candles and dressed entirely in black, the 2012 Vocal Group of the Year treated fans to a largely-acoustic rendition of 'Sober,' a track from their wildly successful 'Tornado' album.

"I love being in love / It's the best kind of drug," they sang. "When I die, I don't wanna go sober."

'Tornado' is a contender tonight for Album of the Year.

Co-host Brad Paisley couldn't pass up the opportunity to crack a joke about the song's title when he introduced the performance. "In more ways than one, they're the first people to sing sober this evening," Paisley remarked.
