Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus' smash "Old Town Road" has hit another major music industry milestone. According to Billboard, the crossover megahit is the fastest song in history to earn diamond certification (marking more than 10 million units sold) from the Recording Industry Association of America. It's also the first song of 2019 to reach that sales achievement. Earlier this year, the song broke Billboard's record for the longest run at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, topping that chart for 19 consecutive weeks.

Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert and Tim McGraw have been announced as headliners for Rock the Ocean's 2020 Tortuga Music Festival. Set for April 17-19 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the multi-genre event will also feature performances from Kelsea Ballerini, Lee Brice, LoCash, Hardy, Tracy Lawrence, Morgan Wallen, Jordan Davis, Chris Lane, Jimmie Allen, Cole Swindell, Caylee Hammack and more artists. The Eagles have added eight additional dates to the 2020 tour that will feature the band performing their iconic album Hotel California in its entirety. Per Ultimate Classic Rock, the band has announced a series of two-night stands in New York City; Atlanta, Ga.; Dallas, Texas; and Los Angeles, Calif., along with adding additional nights to previously planned tour stops in Denver, Colo., and St. Paul, Minn. A new monument commemorating the site of the October 1977 plane crash that killed Lynyrd Skynyrd frontman Ronnie Van Zant, band members Steve and Cassie Gaines and members of the band's crew has been unveiled in Mississippi. According to the Clarion Ledger, the monument has been placed about 400 yards from the actual site of the crash in Gillsburg, Miss., and was revealed at a ceremony on Oct. 20, the 42nd anniversary of the tragedy.
