Lauren Alaina Reveals ‘Wildflower’ Album Cover

Lauren Alaina goes for the natural look on the cover of her debut album, 'Wildflower.' The CD's cover art has been revealed, featuring the 16-year-old beauty with minimal makeup and beachy waves in her long, honey-hued hair.

"I can't wait for you to hear the album, which has 12 songs, including one that I co-wrote," the songbird writes in a letter to fans. "All of the songs are very different, so there's something on 'Wildflower' for everybody. Each song tells a story that I really related to, and my hope is that the songs will touch your heart as well."

One of those songs Lauren particularly related to is her debut single, 'Like My Mother Does,' which she premiered on 'American Idol.' "I had quite a few songs to choose between, but when they played me that song I just started crying," the singer tells The Boot. "Then my mama came in, and she started to cry, too. So I was like, 'Alright, I guess I've got to do it!' It's a beautiful song. My mom went through the whole process with me, and I got all the attention. And Miss Judy ['American Idol' winner Scotty McCreery's mom], too! I give credit to our moms because they went through everything we went through. They didn't get sleep like we didn't get sleep, they were just as stressed as we were. So it's good that I could sing that for them."

'Wildflower' hits store shelves October 11.
