Song: 'Like My Mother Does' (Behind the Scenes)

Why We Dig It: The 'American Idol' runner-up gets personal in her behind the scenes video for 'Like My Mother Does,' the young songbird's first single from her upcoming debut album, 'Wildflower,' set for an October 11 release. "The first shot we did of the day, I was laying on the bed looking through a photo album with pictures of my childhood in it," Lauren recalls. "It was really emotional because I've been away from my family for so long. I saw pictures of me and my daddy and my mama and my brother from when I was little."

A last minute change in the video treatment features an appearance by Lauren's mother. "It made her real nervous, but I wanted her to be in it because it's about her," says the singer. The clip, which contains 12 hours of personal family home footage, is currently No. 5 on GAC's fan-voted Top 20 Countdown.
