Krystal Keith is putting her busy work schedule on hold for a few days, and instead will focus on giving back to those in need. The singer is headed to Memphis to participate in the 25th anniversary Country Cares for St. Jude seminar.

"I am so honored to be visiting St. Jude this week," she says. "St. Jude holds such a special place in my heart because they share my family's passion for helping children with cancer and their families. I look forward to having the opportunity to thank the staff there for everything they do and for inspiring so many of us to make a difference."

The seminar, which has included visits in the past from Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town, Jewel, Joe Nichols and Randy Owen -- who founded the event -- is credited with helping the children's hospital operate throughout the year.

"The seminar in Memphis each year might be the single most important element to keeping the Country Cares radiothons fresh, factual and compelling to listeners," Lon Helton, owner and publisher of Country Aircheck, says.

"Today's radio is about being 'real' and communication. What better way to accomplish that and describe the mission of St. Jude than through people who have been there, touched it, seen it, felt it and experienced it firsthand?"

The Country Cares for St. Jude seminar runs from Jan. 16-19 at St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. Since it began in 1989, the event has raised more than $500 million in cash and pledges for the organization.

Keith's latest album, 'Whiskey & Lace' was released in December, and includes her latest single, 'Get Your Redneck On.' Purchase the album here.
