Kid Rock will soon have his own brand of beer, helping to bring his home state's unemployment rate down a bit.

The Detroit-native is teaming up with the Michigan Brewing Company, which just received a hefty state tax credit from the Michigan Economic Growth Authority. The company is now able to invest $7 million in the creation of a new beer, which will result in 394 jobs statewide. That includes 150 new jobs for the brewing company itself, which currently only has a staff of eight.

Kid Rock is said to be hands-on in everything from the beer's taste to the design of its label. The new beverage is expected in stores this spring.
