Kelly Clarkson Confirms She Is Pregnant

After much recent speculation and dodging the question during a recent TV appearance, Kelly Clarkson has confirmed that she is pregnant.

The singer took to social media to share the good news directly with her fans.

I'm pregnant!!! Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever :)

Clarkson and her husband, Nashville talent manager Brandon Blackstock, wed in Tennessee just last month, on Oct. 20. Blackstock is Reba McEntire's stepson, and manages Blake Shelton.

In an appearance on 'The Tonight Show' last Monday (Nov. 11), Clarkson played coy when Jay Leno asked outright if she was already pregnant.

“We are not announcing anything right now! We’re not, no,” she said. “I never wanted kids before, but now I want, like, five. Practice makes perfect! We’re trying, trying, trying … like rabbits!”

Clarkson is already a stepmother to Blackstock's two children. So far there has been no information given about a possible due date.
