Keith Urban debuted the video for his latest single, 'We Were Us,' on Facebook on Friday (Nov. 15), and the singer definitely didn't disappoint.

Miranda Lambert, who joins Urban on the duet, also shares the spotlight for the video, which depicts the two singing together, sometimes sharing a microphone throughout the song. Without any dramatic story plot or surprising twists and turns, the video is a refreshing portrayal of what the two do best -- sing their hearts out.

Urban, who performed the song with Lambert during the recent CMA Awards, says he was thrilled to find something he could share with the songstress.

"When I heard 'We Were Us,' it was instant," Urban explains to People magazine. "I had two thoughts. The first [was] ''This is that song' and the second – 'Man, I sure hope she says yes!' "

The video was directed by Becky Fluke (Pistol Annies, Little Big Town) and Reid Long (Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley).

Urban is giving fans a chance to get in on the action as well. He is inviting all of his fans to sing along with the song and post their own video for a chance to win a trip to see him perform in Chicago, Ill. Several of the top-voted videos will also be included in a special fan version video of 'We Were Us.' Details can be found here.
