Keith Urban is headed home: The country superstar will bring his 2016 Ripcord World Tour to his home country of New Zealand at the end of the year.

Urban will perform at Westpac Stadium in Wellington, New Zealand, on Dec. 3. It will be the first time that Urban has played in his home country since he was a teenager.

"I'm so psyched about finally getting to play a real show in the country of my birth," Urban says in a press release. "The last time I played music there, I was in a duo playing every weekend at a pub called the DB Onerahi in Whangarei ... and I was 17. This is gonna be an amazing feeling!”

Joining Urban in New Zealand will be fellow country star Carrie Underwood. The two previously announced a run of dates in Australia, also set for December.

New Zealand is the fourth country in which Urban will play while out on the road in support of his latest album, Ripcord, released on May 6; in addition to his aforementioned Australian dates, he's got a number of shows in the U.S. and Canada scheduled. Urban began his Ripcord World Tour on June 2 in Kansas City, Mo., with Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris as his special guests.
