Kacey Musgraves has always been a fearless adventurer when it comes to pushing boundaries in country music, and that goes for the cover songs she chooses as well. Her poppy cover of *NSYNC's classic tune "Tearin' Up My Heart" during recent performances gives her fans one more reason to adore her versatile talent.

Readers can press play above to watch Musgraves cover the 1997 hit during a recent show in Dallas, Texas. She has admitted a few times in interviews that she listened to pop acts including *NSYNC during her childhood.

"I grew up singing Western swing and very traditional music, but I also listened to *NSYNC or Spice Girls like whatever everybody else was listening to," Musgraves told Noisey in 2015. "I don’t even know how I grew up singing it — it just happened. And then I kind of moved away from that in my teen years I didn’t think it was very cool I got into a really emo phase ..."

Musgraves has been playing "Tearin' Up My Heart" during her opening spots on Harry Styles' tour, including at a June 7 show in Houston and a stop in Nashville, Tenn., on Tuesday (June 12). The former show was her first with Styles, formerly a member of the boy band One Direction.

Musgraves released her latest album, Golden Hour, on March 30 and has been touring in support of the project. She plans to hit the road for her overseas Oh What a World Tour this fall, in addition to playing a handful of dates in the U.S., many of which are opening-act spots for Styles. Additional, stateside headlining dates on the Oh What a World Tour are expected to be announced as well.
