Josh Turner has released the sexy video for his latest single, 'Lay Low.' The song is the debut single from his upcoming sixth studio album.

The video, directed by Trey Fanjoy, captures beautiful scenery as a couple travels to a remote cabin, while Turner croons lines like, "I wanna drive until my cell phone / Runs out of range and every bar is gone / Cut through the woods another hundred miles / And disappear for a while / I wanna hear raindrops falling down on an old tin roof / Wanna find a front porch trail and chop up my traveling boots … Spend a few days together alone / And just lay low."

The song, written by Ross Copperman, Tony Martin and Mark Nesler, paints a true depiction of Turner's life off the road, finding time to get away with his wife, Jennifer.

"[The song] painted a mental picture of our cabin and how secluded it is. It’s where we go to get away from it all and reconnect with each other, to be reminded of what’s most important," the father of four explains. "Laying low is something Jennifer and I love to do. We most always have to make the time to do it, because as you can imagine, we don’t just have ample amounts of idle time."

'Lay Low' might be the only outside cut on Turner's new set of tunes. The singer-songwriter says he has already written more than 60 songs for the upcoming project, which is not an easy task with his large brood.

“It’s been somewhat of a challenge, but I’ve learned that songwriting is a discipline," Turner tells The Boot, "and you just kind of have to carve out time for it.

"I’m pretty close to having the album finished," he adds, "but right now, we’re just focusing on promoting the single."
